Bernie Sanders' campaign disclosed today he had a heart attack, though when asked about it the medical staff treating him said it was actually a myocardial infarction, which sounds very heart-attackish to me.

Meanwhile, CNN reports the "House Democrats on Friday issued a subpoena to the White House for documents related to Ukraine, ratcheting up the Democratic impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump." All things being equal, if today is your day to check The Donald's BP, you might want to call in sick, for the rest of the year.

There is likely nothing to Giuliani's newest theory that after hearing about Bernie's heart attack, Schiff looked up "myocardial infarction" and found that stress hormones can cause it and that the National Library of Medicine lists "a variety of negative emotions such as anger, tension, and sadness, were found to induce it". Anybody seen any evidence of that, anywhere in the news, lately?

Still... Bernie's heart attack was announced and sometime AFTER that announcement, the White House was hit with the subpoenas. Coincidence? 

Unrelated, to anything else, it only took me one try to spell "subpoena" unlike The Donald's nine tries yesterday for a twitter rant. Thing is, I have spell-check. But then so does Twitter, so I'm still searching the web for eight other explanations besides, "What the hell does that little red line under the word mean?"

And, in the "unexpected consequences" column is the new "Nancy Pelosi For President Campaign" which kicked off with the House's impeachment inquiry turning to VP Pence. Turns out he made a trip to Ukraine back in September while his owner stayed in the U.S. to monitor a hurricane from one of his golf courses. During the trip, Pence met with the President of Ukraine and reportedly discussed Trump's withholding of U.S. security assistance. 

And just like we know "myocardial infarction" is just another term for heart attack, we also know that "withholding of U.S. security assistance" is just another term for extortion.
